Btw, John Yurich started this whole debacle by coming on here and posting a carnal comment about the length of the piano players skirt...why? What purpose did it serve except to defile others and demean the character of an unknown woman.
Thanks Mr. Tim for your positive feedback. In my many years as a Christian I have seen every thing unbiblical/sinful pressed into Romans 14. The context is quite clear what Paul was admonishing the church about: special days, meat and drink. But it has become the favorite chapter for those operating in the flesh to go to when they want to justify their carnality. IMHO
John Yurich, the Scripture is our standard, and it tells us in 1 Timothy 2:9 “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety”.. If you noticed her apparel and chose to come on here and share with everyone the length of her dress ..?? It was immodest and she should have been taken aside by the leadership of your church and been shown her error and asked to put on something more appropriate or not be allowed to play the piano, as she was an occasion to cause brethren to stumble.

Since there has been no mention of this on the SA news forum,just a FYI. Pastor Henry Mahan passed into glory 5/31/19. A truly humble servant of the Lord and a great preacher of the Sovereign Grace Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
When I read your last post concerning your DH I felt you needed a little encouragement,concerning all that you are dealing with. I have been there with my husband and cardiovascular health issues..he is recovering from having stents placed last week. He now has 5 of them and also a triple bypass surgery and is doing quite well.PTL! One thing Dolores, there is a day appointed for our passing into eternity and none go one second before or after as the Lord has appointed. Will upon remembrance pray for you and your husband.

“ Great Sermon! ” @Curious. Repentance is a change of mind. So repentance would be going from not believing to believing. Repentance IS believing. At least, that’s how I understand it.
