So a man is to provide for his family spiritually, emotionally and financially, but not physically?
Give me a break! I’m so blessed to be married do a Christian man who provides all of the above and isn’t so heavenly minded that he’s of no earthly good.
Nothing but pacifism being promoted by the three from over seas.

We’ll be there, we heard y’all don’t need no teeth to eat the beef..
We’ll be drivin the rusted out Chevy with tobaccy stains down both sides of the doors.

Lol Dr. Tim, looks like one has to have a strong fortitude to be on these ‘Christian’ sites.
I’ll pass on the alcohol, holiday, and sports ‘debates’.

Owning a weapon for self-protection or hunting, or not owning a weapon, doesn’t make one any more spiritual or pleasing to God.
As one rightly said this horse has been beat enough.

What has been advocated on here by some is pacifism which is unbiblical and is held by some religious groups such as Quakers, Mennonites, and the Amish.
Good points Christopher000.

It is not a sin to own a firearm,
Sorry if y’all live in countries where it is illegal. We are granted that right in America.
Believe me if armed thugs are kicking in your door at 3:00 a:m if you want to quote Scripture fine, we’ll be praying and reaching for the side-iron.

That’s your opinion BMC and you are entitled to give it.
I respectfully disagree. You probably do not live in the United States as also the other two posters who share your views.
As stated in my previous comment it is a personal conviction and choice that is not a sin and granted to us by the U.S. Constitution. I assure you,we are not rebels, crusaders,or guerillas, Don’t believe everything you hear or see on the fake news sites.
Take care.

Ultimately the decision to bear arms is a personal choice determined by ones own personal convictions based on biblical principles. As a Christian deadly force should only be applied as a last resort,to stop evil being committed or to protect human life.

It’s been my experience that people living overseas, different countries, etc. have a purely Hollywierd tv mentality concerning Americans. They think we wear 10 gallon hats, spurs, and speak with a southern drawl, and have our side iron strapped on ready to draw at any provocation.

Early Christian martyrs died for their witness and faith in Christ, not passivity due to acts of aggression, robbery,or violence.
The ownership of a weapon for protection does not mean ones ultimate faith and trust isn’t in God.

Indeed Herbal Mama..
The Scripture Mike from NY gave, says it all.
I thank the Lord for a godly husband who has taken every precaution to provide for his family in these evil days.

When it came to the first book of the Bible.

“I have therefore no difficulty in accepting, say, the view of those scholars who tell us that the account of creation in Genesis is derived from earlier Semitic stories which were pagan and mythical”.
