I live in a state that the ‘experts’ have deemed has ‘lost control of the epidemic’ lol.
Stricter lockdowns, contact tracing, and cannot leave the state are what is being proposed.
Welcome to the USSR☠️

Being in an area that has no sound Biblical churches, we know we are blessed to have found Sermon Audio and are able to listen to a few God called preachers.
One Pastor who is from Georgia that we listen to, understands that there are many sheep scattered abroad without a shepherd and encourages us with his teaching and to contact him for any questions, concerns, or needs that we may have.He has a true shepherds heart for God’s people and we have benefited from this online service Providentially provided by our Heavenly Father.

Some church buildings in our state have remained open, our governor has a bit more common sense than some of his counterparts.

“The past shows unvaryingly that when a people’s freedom disappears,it goes not with a bang, but in silence amid the comfort of being cared for. That is the dire peril in the present trend toward statism.
If freedom is not found accompanied by a willingness to resist, and to reject favors, rather than to give up what is intangible but precarious, it will not long be found at all.”
Richard Weaver, 1962.

US wrote:
“A look at the pagan Christianity book”.

This book is a help to show us where many of the pagan practices of our churches as well as the Jewish religion of old have crept in and have been accepted as Biblical.
I suggested it to those who are interested.

This book as can be expected, is not received by most and volumes have been written against it.
Discernment is sorely lacking in Evangelical circles.

Hi John, this book is quite helpful and as I said also well documented.
We have found that if you try to share this info. with other believers it is not well received, and is often met with ridicule and disdain.
Western Christianity is comfortable in its various denominational practices/traditions and to suggest otherwise and say that most of what is done is unbiblical...well you’ll soon hear “away with this fellow”.

A helpful book that I would suggest for perusal of any who are interested.
‘Pagan Christianity’. by Frank Viola.
The authors position is quite clear and well documented.
Much of church practice is due to accumulated traditions that have little or no trig in the Bible.

“Experience supplies painful proof that traditions once called into being are first called useful, then they become necessary. At last they are too often made idols, and all must bow down to them or be punished.”

There is no Gospel of free and Sovereign Grace in what Rick Warren and his ilk bring to the masses.Only a skewed self help pep talk with a sprinkling of scripture ripped from its context.👎

Weighing in on this matter again, as I see it, the Romans 14 days spoken of are individuals keeping ‘certain days’ not the assembly collectively gathered for corporate worship and teaching.
So if believers choose to keep C&E days in their own homes that is between them and God, but it is not to be brought into the corporate gatherings and treated as a ‘special day’ of remembrance.
Paul addressed this in Galations 4:10.
