Thursday, 4 May 2107, was the date chosen for the Official Opening of the Reformation Room and the launch of the first 'Just By Faith Alone' Tours.
After singing Luther's famous hymn, 'A Mighty Fortress Is Our God,' Rev. Ian Brown welcomed all in attendance, thanked them for their support for the project, and outlined the aims for it. The Moderator of Presbytery, Rev. Thomas Murray, then offered the prayer of dedication.
The company was then divided into two groups for the Tour; one led by Rev. Brown, the other by Peter Lunn. Then adults certainly enjoyed all the interactive elements, many expressing the desire to repeat the tour. Feedback was most encouraging on what was a splendid evening that exceeded our expectations. |
