“ Great Sermon! ”
This is not a sermon but rather an eyewitness account of old men dreaming dreams and young men seeing visions and God pouring out his Spirit upon all flesh during the Lewis revival

“ Uplifting Words ”
Some helpful reminders for Christian funerals. Just wondered why no mention was made concerning the trend towards cremations as opposed to burials.

I am reminded of the strange change in pronoun that occurs in Psalm 23 when we get to the "valley of the shadow of death." Suddenly the psalmist no longer refers to the Lord but instead speaks directly to him. ie "thou art with me". It is no longer an academic belief but a personal awareness. Only during the worst challenges of life do we get to experience the Lord personally.

Justification is by faith alone, however faith is evidenced by works. That is to say faith without works is dead and not faith at all.

I do not think we should be answering this question for our fasting should be in secret

Mat 6:16 ¶ Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mat 6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

Mat 6:18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

1Jo 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

If it became a criminal offence to be a christian (and it may well soon) how many of us would be found guilty? Would there be any evidence to show that we had been with Jesus, Or could a good lawyer get us off?
