Sermon:
But Go to My Brethren [A] (1)
Rev. John Thackway

“ Thank You Lord ”
Dear Brother John: Last night as I listened to this wonderful sermon The Spirit blessedly came along side and opened my heart to feel and rejoice at Christ’s love and my Heavenly Fathers love to me. This morning I awoke full of thanksgiving to Father, Son, Spirit, just as Phillip Doddridge recommends we begin each day in his The Rise and Progress of Religion in the soul. But this morning I did not have to make myself be thankful, as in past days, which I lamented to Him about in prayer asking for personal revival and quickening. For He had answered my prayer by leading me to your experiential preaching, which I have longed for, and thank Him for. May He richly bless your ministry, and the ministry of you brother preachers such as Malcom Watts, and Dewi Highams, who the Good Spirit has also led me to in recent days. Oh how Good it is to have The Spirit “come down” and accompany the experiential and faithful exposition of His Word, filling the heart and soul with the perception of His Presence, and the reality of spiritual and heavenly things! Thank You Lord, for this my brother, and his love for You. Give Him more and more grace and strength to proclaim Your incomparable person and work to this lost and dying world, In Jesus’ Name, I ask it, for His everlasting glo

“ Thank you ”
Thank brother for your honesty and humility and courage in speaking the Truth. John Owen in his Mortification of Sin, I think would agree with your thoughts on this passage. Oh how the church needs to hear the message of mortification of sin! “If you, through the Spirit, do mortify the deeds of the body, you will live” ( Rom 8:13b). Hope to be enabled to visit your church soon and meet with you, In Him, Gerry L.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank You Lord for speaking through your servant Joseph, and Your servant, Reggie, to point us to You, and your amazing grace, in pardoning, freely, we sinners, and teaching us about the spirituality of Your moral law, beautiful, precious law, for putting it in our minds and writing on our hearts, and moving us to keep it, not to earn your favor, for that is utterly impossible; but rather to simply please You, because we love You, because You first loved us, In Him, Amen

Sermon:
Paul's Metaphors to the Thessalonians
Rev. Reggie Kimbro

“ Great Sermon! ”
Good to see you made back to your home pulpit safe and sound my brother Reggie. Thank you for your insightful, and thoughtful, as usual, exposition of this passage wherein Paul addresses the Thessalonians seeking to have them compare their deceptive false teachers with their true teacher: The Spirit through the instrument of Paul. I especially loved your reference to the correct teaching of the Spirits use of the Moral Law, the Ten Commandments, in the life of the elect, first to bring them to a true knowledge of sin and self, and thus the fear of God, causing a flight to Christ in earnest as the only hope….and then, one this is accomplished, the right use of that Law as a Rule of Life, it being “put in the mind and written in the heart” by that Spirit, whereby the believer, with the psalmist exclaims “oh, how I love Thy Law, it is my meditation all the day”. Ps 119:97 & Heb. 8:10

“ Blessed Truth ”
Thank you for reminding me what a miracle of love and grace and God’s giving loving nature as the only reason He saves. As someone said in answer to the question of “why doesn’t He save everyone?” That isn’t the right question. The right question is: “considering what we all deserve by our nature and actions, why does He save any one?” Thanks for reminding of His love and grace and mercy.

Sermon:
A Serious Warning
Dr. Brian Green

“ Important Subject ”
This sermon deals with a most important subject, rarely spoken of today. Personally, I have found Bunyan's treatment of the subject in his "Doctrine of the Law and Grace Unfolded" to be the clearest most comprehensive dealing with this chapter 10 and chapter 6 of Hebrews warnings of the Unpardonable sin, or Sin against the Holy Ghost. What a blessing that the Lord should make these things clear through the deep experience and profound teaching of the Spirit as He did with Bunyan, as perhaps no other man in the history of the church, and now to preserve and make those writings and teachings available so widely to all that "seek Him with their whole heart". Thank you Lord for your faithful pastors after your own heart.

“ What a Blessed God We Have ”
How wonderful of God to reveal Himself through the teaching His servant Dr. Green to me...personally, particularly, really, wonderfully. This series continues to be a great source of encouragement day after day as the Spirit speaks through these messages to my soul and spirit. Thank you, Father, Son, Spirit, for your plan, your execution of that plan, and your revelation of that plan to one who deserves nothing be wrath, and instead found infinite love, mercy and grace. Praise your Holy Name.

Sermon:
Paul's Foolish Plan
Dr. Brian Green

“ God used this sermon to bless me ”
How carefully and reverently Dr. Green opens up these passages so that we can see more fully the mind and working of God in all our lives, through His dealings with His Apostle Paul. And inspite of my foolish decisions already made, perhaps, if we listen, to prevent us from making as many such in the future. Also, such insights help to make better sense out of the whole book of Acts, and tie together the loose ends, and incongruencies, which I have wondered about for years. I praise God for leading me to these sermons in answer to prayer, and may He help me to "do the will of God", "do the will of God", is my prayer, and also, May He bless you Dr. Green.

“ How blessed to hear the truth preached ”
This is faithful preaching, and how good to hear these things and to be reminded of God's sovereignty in provision of all things, and His purpose is to teach of ourselves and Him. Thank you for this sermon.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Preaches just like JESUS was talking to you. It is not Paul Washer speaking but the LORD through Him.
