As a former public teacher , I cry at the ignorance of this teacher. Ignorance, for those who do not have a dictionary, means lack of knowledge & wisdom.

This is just newsweek liberal dribble. I cannot speak for evangelicals...nor Christians, but most were ticked at McCain for his bad attitiude toward Christians, (how come he never spoke about his faith in Christ except at Saddleback). In the end, McCain , the lesser of 2 weevels, did not seem to be aware of how horrible his staff was in advertising, handling, etc. He should have fired the lot early on.

THe problem for the 21st century church is are we ready for the time when the govt will TELL us to love the gay lifestyle? If we wake up, we will stand our ground. If we sleep...
Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
I cannot see the UN churches much more than the paganism of the world dressed in a nice temple.

The Saddleback debate was the most interesting to me becausse Obamawas given the most opportunites to explain his relation with Christ & I heard NADA! This alone did not tell me he is a nominal Christian at the most but it was the most telling of all his "religious" comments. Unfortunately, McCain Episcopalian bent seems to keep him mum about his relation to Christ also. I respect those who are quiet about their faith but we are ALL told to be ready to show the reason for our hope & I do not hear any conviction from McCain.
Whoa, Nellie. Will everyone begin to preach Revelation, prophetic sermons now???? Hmmmmmmm, perhaps tomorrow?

Abortion is not my single issue but it is always my first issue. (Obamea does not rate well when it comes to traditional family issues either). In the end, no matter who God allows to be our leader, we Christians have our hands full - PTLA, don't pull our wgans in a circle but be even more open to witness & minister the Word.
We enter a hard 1st Century church -like time but God offers it so that more people will come to Him before the end or their end (those saved)! I borrow a phrase but IN the Spirit of CHRIST
FLAME ON!!!

I just returned from a mission trip in Mumbai & I find it hard to describe. I taught 2 classes on New Age religion & Oprah 's Church with Miracles, the secret & Eckhart tolle before I left for India. Then to go to India & see the consequences of Buddhism & Hinduism left me speechless. The darkness in the eyes of so many people was devasting. But if you are interested in the LIGHT of CHRIST in Mumbai, go to imcares.org to see a wonderful ministry in the midst of what is already on the doorstep of the Western traditions. As Oprah's students learn more about monism & pantheism, their 'Christianity" will become more relative & we will truly have a church of "ala carte" relgionists. PTLA!!

It is truly amazing how they clamor to innoculate the High Preisthood of the Ivory Tower of Atheistic, Godless Science, by attacking and ridiculing into shame any and every challenge to their precious dogma!

They gloat that Creatism has no published scientific research to prove that Evolutionism is flawed. If real research is done that dares to contradict their religious decrees, it never sees the light of day!

It says B12 is in yeasts...

When I was veggie I choked down a few Tbs of Brewer's Yeast every day.

Perhaps this is why God gave us beer. The Puritans considered it as vital as bread. It is high in B vitimins from the yeasts...
Beer is a more pleasant way to get yer B's!

the wedding ceremony of western tradition has biblical ramifications. The Bride waits to see the groom, already in place. This is the coming of Christ for His bride. Marriage is an institution of Christ so thus a priest or pastor officiates to remind the whole congregation that GOd has prepare the world for us before we came, the fall changed things but Christ has chnaged that which was changed by the fall. We all need to be ready for the coming of Christ is another message in the wedding ceremony.

"The sermons of its ministers steer clear of politics and hot-button social issues and dwell instead on scripture. "
What? Scripture says nothing about these issues?
It is amazingly ignorant that so many think the scriptures don't have anything to say about politics and government. NEWS FLASH: God ordained gorvernment and also has ordained limits and responsibilities for it (Rom 13). There are 3 main Jurisdictions of His government: the Family, the Church and the State. Each must rule within it's own jurisdiction according to God's Law and not make up their own law & stay out of the others' domain.

Listen to John Weavers series here on "The Biblical view of Civil Government".

America would be far better off if Pastors preached on what God has ordained for civil gov't - rather taking the "hands-off" approach which allows idolitrous Socialism to advance.
