He was well paid to place a curse on the people of God, but he could not do so when God had blessed them. Thus, this text provides great comfort for those who belong to the Lord. The devil may rage against them and may hatch schemes for their destruction, but God has blessed them, giving them a perfect refuge from storm of Satan's anger.
