For the first time since October 1992, evangelist Luis Palau will address a mass gathering in the Phoenix area when he addresses CityFest March 19-20, 2011 in Tempe, Arizona. His ecumenical style of evangelism, patterned after Billy Graham, to whom he is sometimes compared, has been broadened to include some of the most prominent groups and singles who perform under the general umbrella of contemporary Christian music. This message traces the Palau ecumenical philosophy and pop music methodology in contrast with the narrowness of the way that leads to eternal life. It includes the reading of names of some of the churches that have joined hundreds of other congregations to sponsor and support the festival, scheduled to be held at Tempe Town Lake.
