The words of the 23rd Psalm have provided comfort and peace to generations of the Lord's people. Considering those words leads us to the recognition that only by focusing on the personal and individual relationship each believer has with the Lord can we know the blessing of all that the Lord does for His people. It is a message as well for those still outside of Christ. Not all your efforts will produce the peace that comes only through trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
