An organization that was formed to guard the evangelical heritage has consistently diluted its position by its alliances and has worked more and more closely with those in the National and World Councils of Churches. This kind of cooperation has never served to promote the cause of a pure Gospel or of the authority of Scripture. The time has come for the evangelical community to recognize that the NAE has joined the forces that are seeking to destroy the power of a separated Gospel witness in an apostate age.
