“ Great Sermon! ”
This was a good message, however, I disagree with you concerning your claim " the Savior loved them and died for them to keep them out of hell". This is not true - Christ laid down His life for His SHEEP, He died to atone for sin, not merely to keep us from hell- which will be cast into the lake of fire. This is a decent message, in spite of the errors in it.

No one here has called 'Johnuk' to repent of his attack on James and Lurker. Where is the apology? Isn't 'Johnuk' the one who promoted mytics here, Madame Guyon and Watchman Nee, yet he accuses James of such? The works of the flesh include biting and devouring one another until one 'consumes' their opponent. It becomes about 'being right' and 'winning' and not about edifying. How shameful, not to mention sinful.

The best comment on the entire thread came from 'Sola Scriptura'

I regret that this forum which should present opportunity for edification one of another is so terribly abused. I hoped it would be to all our profit in our growth up into Christ our Head, but it seems that some wish to prove themselves right by means of ridicule and name-calling and often times false accusations and slander.
Brethren these things ought not to be so. --- yes and amen

Sermon:
The Law of Christ
Ken Wimer

“ Great Sermon! ”
An excellent message that rightly explains the law and the Sabbath. Christ is our Sabbath rest, yes and amen. The legalist says you have to keep the Sabbath, which makes no sense. We cannot keep any of the law, for if we stumble at just one point, we are guilty of breaking ALL of it! We have no righteousness of our own, it is HIS righteousness that God sees and accepts. We are naturally set in our thinking that we must 'do' something to be accepted, this works-based belief is shattered by Christ, and we praise Him. Not the labor of my hands Can fulfill Thy law’s demands; Could my zeal no respite know, Could my tears forever flow, All for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and Thou alone. Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to Thy cross I cling; Naked, come to Thee for dress; Helpless, look to Thee for grace; Foul, I to the fountain fly; Wash me, Savior, or I die.

This short message is a great reminder for the present time. Let us not be sleepy saints, rather, we must watch and pray.

“ rightly expounding ”
This kind of preaching is rare, and doesn't tickle the ear nor please man's tainted will. Nevertheless, the truth MUST be preached, however unpopular it is. God's blessings to you for being faithful to His word.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Great message - I believe in the doctrines of grace because God wrote them in His word. Calvin never penned them, God did.

Amen and Amen! Finally, someone who rightly expounds and exposes this make-believe holiday as the 'birth of Christ'. How sad that so many 'Christians' defend their involvement in this. Unregenerate sinners are not any more 'open to the Gospel' this time of year than any other. God MUST open the ear, and that doesn't depend on what time of year it is! I am grateful that I don't get celebrate this, nor do I defend it anymore. Praise the Lord Great preaching, to God be the glory

Haha! Pastor Shaun: Have a great day! Right! Dont think so after listening to that depressing but eye-opening talk... 😪 sad situation on our church youth culture... all we can do is plead w God to save our children and point out like you all said: Christians cant listen to that stuff bc it grieves the Spirit that lives inside. Thanks guys for another great discussion!

“ Great Sermon! ”
The truths pointed to in this message are ignored by many who name the name of Christ. Combining a works based salvation, which is Arminianism, with the Christ of the bible negates grace. Yet, Graham is defended and spoken highly of, which is a testimony to the true spiritual condition of many who defend him or who just shrug him off.....deception is rampant. Not standing against error is the reason error increases like a cancer, and that is what we see in this day. Men who refuse to expose error-Titus 1:10-11 King James Version (KJV) 10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: 11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. Whose mouths MUST BE STOPPED, yet many refuse to do that. When you speak out, you are falsely accused and ran out of town! Man centered messages are very popular, which explains Graham's popularity.

“ biblically sound ”
This message is biblically centered; so many insist God loves all, and died for all. His holiness is almost an afterthought in this day. The almighty, sovereign God of the universe is the 'unknown god' to most who profess to be religious. Others insist weather related happenings are not God's wrath, yet the bible is clear, God controls the weather. Many great points are addressed in this sermon, points that aren't spoken of much today. Good sermon, to God be the glory

Religious But Lost

“ Great Sermon! ”
This message is excellent, a must hear for all. Many Christians refuse to see and acknowledge sin, rather, excuses are made and sin is covered over. Christians embrace other Christians, regardless of unrepentant sin, and put loyalty to one another above loyalty to Christ. May the Lord always show me what lies in my OWN heart, and protect me from those who are Christian in name only.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Excellent biblical truth presented, a truth that many gnash their teeth at. God elects some unto salvation, others for reprobation. How grateful should the elect be to this gracious, merciful God who has shown such great mercy?
