Relative to the article in the embedded link:--http://tinyurl.com/yc8sj2v3 ( Are evangelicals today more devoted to Trump and the Republicans than the gospel?)[/ “I have dear relatives who are Protestant and say they voted for Trump so they could get Vice President Mike Pence. "These pious souls . . . reasoned that Pence will learn from his tenure and enhance his appeal as a future presidential candidate. Either way, they deem Pence far more likely to advance a faith-friendly . . . Evangelicals obviously concur. As much as racism raised its ugly head during the campaign, the Trump-Pence ticket's shrewd playing of the "God card" proved pivotal.” Sarah S. Williams, Santa Barbara Something else is proving pivotal. That is far more people see “evangelicals” as hypocritical now because of their position in the Charlottesville incident. They did not speak out! So now, many have left the church. Others don’t want to hear the Gospel. |

John UK wrote: Sure you are. Now Connor, you do realise that those who are caught up in the KJVO-cultism speak a certain language, and they are recognised most easily by their accent and what they say? The same is true of the anti-KJV-ists, they have their own accent and way of speaking, and they feed off of one another, just the same way as charismatics feed off of one another. So to recognise what has happened to you is not that difficult. And you too, as Lurker has already commented, will eventually deny the inspiration and infallibility of scripture. It is just a matter of time, if it has not already happened. You see, the people who you are hanging around with, spiritually, none of them claim that there is a Bible we can trust as the inspired, inerrant and infallible word of God. Already you are having to study various versions, in order to somehow get at the truth. Now please be at peace, mark my words, and remember them from time to time, especially when you get fed up of the doubts being introduced into your mind by so-called scholars who are actually the enemy of faith. Connor7You have be well admonished by John/UK. We would see Jesus in scripture. It's him we seek. Thank you JohnUK/Wales |

Dr. Tim wrote: Unbelievable. Why is this “unbelievable”?We have something far worse than that. Killing babies with widespread endorsements from all walks of life. These attempts to destroy the image of God in man are well orchestrated. Now the church should refrain itself from tax-exempt status so that there would be no government intrusion upon its rights of refusal. If I recall, several years ago, the public schools denied religious institutions their rights to hold events in their facilities. THIS IS TYRANNY. To the church I say PAY YOUR TAXES! |

Dr. Tim wrote: ‘There is lots to do on LGBT rights’. There sure is. We could start by eliminating them. Amen to those wicked demands to exalt sin. |
