Some have read to many catechism’s, catholic mystics, and lofty writings of men, trying to reach a ‘ higher religious experience’. That’s fine and your prerogative...just don’t try and foist that nonsense on the rest of us. As the book of James states, “ not many should be teachers”.

Mike, I have a 90 year old Dad who was saved about a year ago from RC. When he reads these ecumenical articles or sees them on YouTube, he thinks that Romanism is just another branch of Christianity and they just have a few things that are wrong, and he gets confused.I spend a lot of time taking him to the Bible and showing him that they have the whole foundation wrong, and are not a Christian denomination, but an antichrist religion that has deceived many. When I read these articles on SA and see that others find nothing wrong with a catholic telling others to fast and pray to some god, which is not the God of the Bible...well it’s unbiblical and unbelievable. Sorry if you are offended, but that is my stance on Romanism and ecumenism.
Sister ladybug, as one who came out of that cult, I am very passionate about not giving any credence to the religion of the papacy, even if some right things might be spoken. As with all false gospels and their propagators of them they always contain some truth. 2 Corinthians 11:3-4. Quite telling lhow some want to find “the greater good” in this article.
