I never imagined a sermon derived from this chapter. The preacher does it fantastically and I recommend it be listened to.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Another excellent exposition from Dr Douglas on this topical issue - a thoroughly biblical exposition, particularly on how the Holy Spirit speaks primarily through the word of God, not some charismatic babbling.

"For the wind goes where it wilst and none considers it."I now consider it and expect it to achieve results.Ever since 9/11 this true story of David has been on my mind.I now see that there is a greater 9/11 in our lives and that we should actively be involved. If we ever have unbelief this sermon should convince us there is much to believe.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Wished every Church Of Christ Member would open there mind to listen to this Truth, AS a former member saved by Gods Grace through Faith because I am willing to keep my mind open and listen then test whats said against Gods Word,God leads us to the Truth if we are truly searching for his Truth not ours,I have a burden on my heart for members of the Church Of Christ, quoting from the book The Truth About The Church OF Christ,Could a Church Of Christ Member Be Saved,After viewing the "Watered Down" Gospel of the so-called Church Of Christ, the question may well be considered, could a Campellite be saved. The answer certainly is this that if a person believes what the Church Of Christ teaches and does not understand God's way of salvation, then the Campbellite is not saved no matter how many religious theories he embraces or how many times he has been dipped in the Church Of Christ Baptistry,he futher states whoever you may be,dear reader, whether a member of the Church OF Christ,a preacher in the movement, or one who reads this book just out of curiosity, let me urge you to put your faith in Christ and Christ alone, for salvation "Nothing in my hand I bring;Simply to the Cross I Cling" Thankyou for a well researched sermon please pray for our Lord to open the closed minds. Jean Watson

“ what an inspiration!! ”
I fervently thank the Lord that this wonderful sermon was included in this week's links within the weekly Sermon Audio e-mail...!! Dr. Douglas is now firmly establshed on my short list of "favorite" preachers, and it is with a sense of urgency that I will go on to now hear the other seven sermons in this Psalm 51 series. For those of us who have returned within a couple of years from severe backsliding, even to the point of abominations in the sight of the Lord, this fine preacher's fervent presentation of the completeness of God's forgiveness and HIS desire that we return to the fullness of joy in the freely given gift of salvation is more inspirational than virtually any portion of Scripture. Thank you so VERY much, Dr Douglas, for so ably assisting me in drawing away from fixation on the verse in Psalm 51 which states that "my sin is ever before me"....!!!
