Spiritual Peer Pressure
Stephen McClean

“ No negotiation! ”
Not negotiating what we know to be God's will, even if other religious people or even believers call us to do so. A very needed warning.

“ In or out. ”
Evangelistic sermon. The cross is the great divider of eternity, history, mankind and even family! Nobody can be neutral regarding Jesus!

Backslidden at Bible College
Rev. Roger Higginson

“ Great lessons. ”
Good and practical teachings about Christian spiritual life, about dedication to God's work and growing in grace, and warning about the danger of losing our usefulness and of backsliding. But I think that all this is based on too much allegorical interpretation of the text. Forcing the allegory to its logical conclusion it would mean to say that tat young man borrowed the cutting edge of his spiritual testimony from another (not from God, but from another man!)...

Soul Burdened for Revival
Rev. Roger Higginson

“ Great burden. ”
I needed this message to broke my ease and to remind me about the burden for revival. O, blessed working of God! May God give us the grace to experience such times of revival in our generation, not only to read and heard about such workings in the past!

“ Flock without a shepherd. ”
It is true that the people was satisfied in a sense with being defeated and was coward, but the people was afraid of the power of the Philistines. They recognized not a spiritual leader in Samson, in whom to trust. Samson went not before the people preaching to them and saying to them that we was raised by God to fight against the Philistines and that God will be with them in battle. Samson fought only from personal revenge and the people knew that he couldn't be trusted, because his mind was not preoccupied with the liberation of his people, but only with women and revenge. The tragedy of the people is because of the tragedy of a leader who was not an example for them. The people was a flock without a shepherd.

Sermon:
Who on Earth Does the Pope Think He Is?
Rev. Roger Higginson

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you for the good and informative message. I've been posting some counter-dialogue on a Christian Apologetics website with a couple of R.C.s. I bring up scripture and history , they mention "writings of the church fathers'. I would add that your delivery is much better than some preachers/teachers on this issue of the Pope/Peter. Some folks start yelling like a Penta-Baptist at a tent revival meeting... instead of teaching in clear , understandable tones. Is.40:8.

Dear Pastor, Thank you for saying the so much needed word: Don't be afraid of the (doctrine) of the Holy Spirit! That's the hope for revival! God bless you, your family and ministry!

This is a great sermon! I have studied it and it was good to hear the same nuggets that the Holyspirit shared with me as He did Mr. Mckee. Do you have it in manuscript (written) form. I would love to it.

Great assurance: if God is our Shepard, we will dwell in His presence forever. But in order to be our Shepard, He must be our Savior first. He will treat His children always with goodness and mercy.

It was good to hear you again, Roger. It's been a few years since I heard you last in Kingston, but glad to hear that God is continuing to bless the gifts He gave you. The message was without doubt challenging and good to be reminded of where we need to be. God bless you, and Elaine also. Regards, Jackie van Tuil
