Great Sermon! We are such a minority in the Middle East, and by listening to your sermon I was so encouraged that you are thinking about your brothers and sisters. I recommend every brother and sister to listen to this timely message.
Great Sermon! I thank my God for leading me to this message. Rev Martin used this single sentence at the end of Nehemiah Chapter 1 to open up a multitude of scripture for me. I am also thankful that this is not "copyrighted material" because it will soon be recycled from my pulpit and the many others that I preach from.
May God bless you for your passion for lost souls.
Heart of the Gospel This message is the heart of the gospel, and I encourage everyone who finds this sermon on the Internet to download it and listen to it. What you'll hear in this sermon is not what you'll hear on the television and radio. They don't mention the reality of sin, and their gospel is devoid of hope for sinners. It's not easy to confront sin, but it's necessary, and only the Lord Jesus Christ has any answer for the problem of sin. Even if you think you are a Christian, it's worth listening to this to hear the Bible's truth.
Lesser known but how great the salvation... Unlike some of the others in this series profiling the great texts which were used to save great men of God, I knew almost nothing about Thomas Chalmers, so I was interested in finding out more. This sermon is not so much about Chalmers himself, although you'll learn who he is and what he did, but the great text by which he was called to salvation, and you'll learn about him being saved. The same invitation to the Lord is available to you!
Clear overview of essential doctrine A clear, easy to understand overview of an essential doctrine - being justified only through faith in the Lord Jesus - that helped me understand it better. Without getting bogged down in the details, this sermons presents the simple gospel message in terms anyone can understand, so it's highly recommended.
Do you hear what I hear? The gospel! This is a wonderful presentation of the gospel message - if you want to know what the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ for sinners, is all about, listen to this and it will help you understand.
Great providential blessing 'For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God' Heb 3.4
Our family recently purchased an old red brick terraced house after many stormy trials which included sleeping in a car for 3 months! We were told that it was built in 1910 and that the builder moved into it and then built the rest of the street. That gave some encouragement that the foundation must be good as it is still standing! The house sign I gave it is HOPE FIRM HOUSE. Not because my hope is in this earthly builder, for the house will eventually be knocked down to make way for progress, but on the basis of Matthew 7: 24-27, Hebrews 3.6 etc. it gives testimony to the faithfulness of the God in whom I trust. My eternal hope (confidence) and firm foundation is the rock that is Jesus Christ, I wil therefore never, never perish, Praise HIM! (John 10: 27-28). Are you built upon HIM? This is an excellent sermon and I advise you to listen and check your own foundation fast for the storms are approaching! Also blessed by the sermon:
The Signboard of Calvary
Great Gospel Message This sermon is a wonderful gospel message. Maybe someone who is surfing the Internet and happened to find sermonaudio.com wonders what this is all about, and this message is a powerful and moving presentation of the gospel.
Great Sermon! The church of Christ is even deeper into cultish activity than the great sermon reveals to us. I know, because I was a long time member. Thanks for confirming the same things God has been showing me. Leaving is a painfull thing because of family and friends, but it is necessary if we want to be free and stay free. Thanks again! Bobby
Great Sermon! Another excellent exposition from Dr Douglas on this topical issue - a thoroughly biblical exposition, particularly on how the Holy Spirit speaks primarily through the word of God, not some charismatic babbling.
