Sermon:
Can women be pastors?

“ Great Sermon! ”
This a brief but extremely helpful message for any Church. It both honours the Word of God and yet graciously maintains a positive tone for women. Despite what may prove a disappointment for some women already in an office for which they have no warrant to be, it should help them to graciously reconsider their position!

The Bible does speak and I agree that there are people who are believers but do not see Him as they ought because of spiritual blindness. They are sleepy Christians and very hard to preach to.

the answer to this question is basically what Paul wrote in Romans 11: Romans 11 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+11&version=KJV Verses 22 to 25 may apply to the previous commenters and should be taken very seriously since some of their comments seem antisemitic Nevertheless, Maranatha

My question is: Whose report will you believe? That of man...of the Word of God. If the scriptures forbid it...then that's the report to believe. Man's authority is not higher than the Word of God.

They *can*. Christian women have the *ability* to minister, counsel, encourage, teach and rebuke -- in effect pastor. The real question is *may* they be pastors?

“ Biblical and Clear! ”
This is a very good, simple, and clear explanation of the biblical gospel. It is a good reminder of the essential truths of the gospel. I highly recommend this video for a new believer or for an unbeliever who wants to know what the gospel is about.

“ Why ”
Jesus told them that they did not hear his words because they were not his sheep.I do not know there you read they have a special way of reaching God. All the blessings, covenants and blessings were to Jacobs descendants. They were Essa's descendants that is why they said they had never been in bondage to any man. The new covenant also is not for them. Hebrews 8:8. Read your history King of Judah John Hyrcanus conquered the Edomites 125 bc they what you know as Jews today. True Israel was sent into dispersion 600 years or more before that and never returned to Israel but migrated from the Assyrian captivity to all of Europe and made those nations in fulfillment of the promise to Abraham his seed would become many nations. From the bible and history books.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Dr. Cairns is correct in what he says here, however, he fails to apply this to the false teaching that Christ was crucified on Friday. You can not have a three days and three nights in the grave with a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday morning resurrection. I believe Christ was crucified on Wednesday, put in the grave that evening and then was resurrected after 6pm on Saturday. That will fulfill the prophecy given by Christ. Remember, when the women came to the tomb on Sunday morning, they found it empty. My thoughts.

How wonderful to hear someone speak the TRUTH regarding the Vatican sanctioned genocide against the Orthodox Christians in WW2! Thank You! They also did the same thing in Eastern Poland, the west Ukraine and Subcarpathian Russia then, too. Thank you again for saying this! Trust in JESUS CHRIST! Not in the fallen pope!

AMEN! Amazing that in my sermon this AM I explained that "Asking in HIS Name" is asking "According to HIS Will". Christians need to understand this to encourage them to seek the WILL of God for their lives.

“ Thou Shalt Not Kill ”
Is it ever right to have an abortion? No. The Roman Catholic Church is clear: No abortions whatsoever, even in the case of an ectopic pregnancy. In that case a surgical procedure, called a salpingectomy removes all of the tube (full salpingectomy) or only the part to which the embryo is attached (partial salpingectomy), inadvertently ending the pregnancy. The Roman Catholic Church follows the teaching of Scripture: Thou shalt not kill (Ex. 20:13).
