I agree.
If this sermon describing Tyndale's suffering isnt enough to motivate Christians to read the scriptures then surely nothing will be. The description of his last days always makes me tear up.
Shame on "evangelicals" today who are so eager to replace God's Word with perversions like "The Message", The NIV, and others, as if the scriptures Tyndale suffered and died so violently for are somehow defective. The "modern translations" origins still go back to the ungodly Church of Rome (the Jesuits) as Dr. Allen so accurately testifies.

“ Great grace of God. ” Glorious message about God's grace in salvation! Grace which exceeds sin and grace which expels sin. What a great salvation, what a great assurance!
“ Great grace of God. ” Great testimony of God's seeking sinners for salvation, of God's preparing the way for saving brother Zdenek, of God's guidance in meeting his future wife and sending them to serve in Liberec.
“ Plain preaching on prevailing prayer ” A number of points are made in this message about the importance of prayer in the spiritual life of a Christian. As is pointed out, either you are going forward or you are losing ground.
“ Great message. ” Excellent message, carefully prepared. The Bible speaks clearly, it is revelation from God. The evolutionists are speculating, imagining things. There words are: possibly, probably, maybe, must been. But they do not know for sure. God was there, the evolutionists not.
“ Excellent. ” Very interesting presentation of Darwin's life, the influences on his thinking, his development, theories and legacy. Very useful to know who Darwin was and who he was not, what he believed and what he believed not.
“ Excellent. ” Excellent material, great arguments, rich in information. A serious response to the pretenses of evolutionists regarding the so called links between apes and humans. Fakes denounced. The theological consequences of beliefs clearly presented.
“ Great deliverance. ” A description of the horrible condition we were in sin, of God's glorious salvation. He puts praises in the mouths of the saved. A saved man is a man who has the joy of the Lord.
“ Great Comforter. ” The Holy Trinity is comforting His people, speaking to the heart of His people. There is no real, tough and lasting comfort for the Christian but in His God.
“ Great salvation. ” A message on 1 Peter 3:18. Christ's unique sacrifice for our sins once for all is our salvation and assurance. Our salvation in strong in Him, it rests not on what we had done, but on what He had done for us.
“ Likeness. ” Likeness of Christian to the 4 living ones. We have fellowship with God, so we are like the heavenly creatures. But we are still human and we have the flesh remaining in us, so we are like the earthly creatures.
“ Warning. ” The danger of being inactive in the work of the Lord, uninvolved, a spectator. Opposition between Saul the inactive and Jonathan the involved.
“ Great Sermon! ” Dear Pastor, Thank you for your message. I am a missionary in Nigeria. Hearing your voice, I heard the voice of God in it. I made the mistake in the past to come outside to the people with my 'interior garments' like a foolish woman coming out on the streets in her night gown. Just like Jesus said not to throw pearls to pigs, intimacy with God has a high price that few are willing to pay.
O, for the cross to wotk in me, to be dead to the desire to have 'personal' friends...

“ Regeneration. ” Whitefield is one of my favorites. God revealed Him the necessity of being born again and He was saved and preached this message his entire life. In his ministry, God brought back the preaching of the true Gospel in a time of deadness.
