This week saw the burial of Harry Patch, Britain's last surviving First World War veteran. The atrocities of that particular war led him to condemn all warfare. Warfare and battle is never good but at times, I suppose rarely, the cause is good and should be fought for. Paul likens the Gospel ministry and Christian life to a warfare. The cause is always good because it is the extension of Christ's kingdom and the upholding of His truth.
