SERMON INFO
In an age when many denominations have banished all mention of the precious blood of Christ from their pulpits, and whitewashed it from their hymn books, it is necessary for the Christian pastor to re-emphasize the central position the blood of Jesus has in true biblical theology.

Christ's blood alone can:

• fend off the fury of God at human sin,
• silence the devil,
• rescue a poor soul from an eternal hell,
• make the sinner righteous before a holy God,
• pardon every one of his iniquities,
• give him peace - joy - and every other heavenly blessing that can be had and held down here ... plus a place in the glorious mansions of heaven!

Even as Robert Lowry put it:

Nothing can for sin atone
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Naught of good that I have done
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
