A presentation of the spiritual condition of Geneva at the beginning of the 18th Century, the influence of Rationalism, Unitarianism, romanticism and fanaticism. A presentation of the revival. The ways in which this second Reformation reaffirmed the Reformation of the 16th Century: it reaffirmed the doctrine of justification by faith, the sole authority of Scripture and the doctrine of assurance. Excellent study.
