The Statement featured in this audio was released by the Government And Morals Committee of the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster to coincide with the first sodomites entering into 'Civil Partnerships' in the United Kingdom, 19 December 2005.
It sets the Civil Partnership Act in the context of a list of demands made by sodomites - some of which have already been granted (e.g. lowering of age of consent (2000) and repeal of Section 28 (2003) - and others they are actively campaigning for (e.g. full adoption rights, implementation of homosexual curriculum at all levels of education).

Contrary to what the media has been insisting for months (that Londonderry had won the race to stage the first 'Gay Wedding' in the United Kingdom), Monday 19 December came and went - with NO 'sodomite marriages' in our city!
The persons who intended to participate in this wickedness postponed it!
Chief among the reasons suggested was "condemnation from a local Church group" - i.e. ... us!
While this may mean little to many people (and it is true that two other homosexuals intend to go through with a ceremony in Londonderry this Friday), it is now a historic fact that this city does not wear the badge of being the first in the UK to host a sodomite union!
We praise God for this.

"A civil partnership was provisionally booked for the Guildhall yesterday which would have been the first in the UK. However, it did not go ahead because the two weeks' notice period was not received by the city registrar. It is also thought that the media hype and condemnation from a local Church group led to the couple not going ahead with the ceremony."
