On a day when we gratefully remember those who have fallen in the bitter and brutal conflicts of two horrendous World Wars - who paid the price of our present freedoms with their lives - it will be good practice for us to also remember our fellow believers, scattered across this earth today, who do not have the freedoms we enjoy, but are severely persecuted for their devotion to Christ.
Hebrews 13:3 enforces this duty upon us: “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; [and] them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.”
