It may appear contradictory, to have waited 2 ½ years after commencing our study on Ephesians, before examining its structure and doctrines as a whole, and then to now commence our study of the Psalms by doing exactly that. The reason for this apparent aboutface is that the Book of Psalms is an incredibly large body of Scripture. The more I have read and prepared, the more I find this Book of 150 chapters to be a large, deep, and in some ways a very complex book. Therefore, I thought it good to give an overview, before we dive into the very first Psalm.:
1. The Book's Names
2. The Book's Position
3. The Human Authors Of The Psalms
4. The Structure Of The Book |
