1:27Â And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Since you brought up Leonard ravenhill would like to point out that I was listening to one of his sermons yesterday and he was banging on about how wonderful mother Theresa is - ???? Was he an ecumenist ? I also recall from earlier sermons that he was quite fond of Katherine khulman ?
My children went to catholic primary school- in those days I didn't understand the difference between Catholics and Christians. There were nuns running the school- I made friends with them and they were absolutely mustard and lovely ladies. It was whilst I was talking to them ( sharing the highlights of mel gibsons film the passion) that I realised we were not of one accord. Whilst I was adoring Jesus, they were clearly focussed on Mary. They could never accept that it is by faith ( in Jesus completed work on the cross) alone and I could never persuade them of anything different. Most of them have died- don't ever fall for the nostalgia here presented about nuns/ monasticism - some absolutely fantastic ladies have gone to hell because of this wicked institution. Praise God that there are no more coming along to be held in its trap.
Great Sermon! Clear bible focussed presentation. But we must remember this psalm in its context of David - and balance against :
KJV
Hebrews 13
13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
Great Sermon! Lovely clear bible focussed presentation thank you. In my situation I have in fact fled from the 'church' - my home church was using any old bible version and promoting ecumenism. Left with their blessing and gods clear direction to attend a more Orthodox Church- the ' vicar' an ( ex ???) homosexual was steeped in freemasonry allowed witches to rent out the hall. I had no recourse but to leave- attended a small fellowship that was infiltrated by false teachers and eventually collapsed. I moved to the local bible college- again used multi bible versions - preached replacement theology and then adopted emergent church programme. Sometimes we have no recourse but to walk alone - I have ten or so brethren that are with me. I have been without a home church for maybe 5 years- I listen to on line sermons and I tract and am still walking firmly with the Jesus of the bible.
I don't trust the police- where are these pictures of a man badly beaten ???? I have first hand experience of police tactics- please believe me that they are not cuddly friendly impartial law keepers - I don't trust them as far as I could throw them???
Revelation 20 4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
John 8 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Great Sermon! This is such a great message- it's so easy to get depressed when we look at the world - I forced myself to thank god in the middle of a trial a few weeks back and I cannot agree with you enough that thanking our Lord is such a balm to the spirit - there is nothing that he cannot do- he is in total control - thanks for confirming what I had just come to realisexxx
Great Sermon! Wonderful sermon - I love the powerful scriptures quoted.
Romans 9
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.
Isaiah 6
1 IN the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
A real faith builder and so much truth here- brilliant xx
