Great Sermon! Was sick. Stayed home from the evening service. Tried to tune into SA broadcast of this service but audio was too trebly. Could not bear listening. Switched to Faith Free broadcast and this sermon spoke to me directly in so many points. What a timely message for me! Just what I needed to hear and when I needed to hear it. ....it is the Lord...Thank you brother Wagner and be blessed.
Martyn Lloyd-Jones once called the Roman Catholic Church "Satan's Masterpiece." For all intents and purposes the Pope is the leader of all the religions of the world, and they will all, including Islam, eventually fall under the official headship of Rome. (With the exception of a remnant that will not bow the knee to His so-called Holiness)
Luciferianism has always been about devil worship. (Satan worship) Baphomet is never mentioned in scripture and neither is the goat of Mendes, but they both are worshipped as demons or the devil himself. These people are being honest. They're letting us know who they love, who they worship and who's appearing they're looking forward to, and it isn't our Lord Jesus Christ's.
"Having service members don the same headgear is symbolic of a Navy that is gender-blind," said Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen, a Navy spokesman. There's no fool like an educated fool. Probably graduated from one of our many wonderful Jesuit universities.
He runs casinos for crying out loud! Has anybody figured that out yet? These are where people's lives are ruined! What place has he at the evangelical table? But then again , I'm forgetting that this is an evangelicalism that even has a place for the Pope.
Didn't we try this once before (albeit somewhat subliminally)with our last lord and savior G.W. Bush? Give me a man who will say and do what is right and let the chips fall where they may, whether or not he is elected or re-elected. It will be such a man who will earn my vote and not some self proclaimed "Christian" who then proceeds to triple the size of government and open the doors for an ever growing surveillance state in the name of some ambiguous "war on terror" while leaving our southern borders wide open. And yes, I voted for him twice, unfortunately. I should have stayed home and played with my trains the second time around.
1 Sam. 2:30 - ....for them that honour me I will honour.... Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Keep on truckin', I'll keep prayin.
John UK wrote: RE: John Stott, we ought to be speaking in the past tense. He was cremated in London, and his ashes are buried in Dale, Pembrokeshire, Wales. quote John had asked that a gravestone will eventually be placed at the spot, carved out of Welsh slate, with the words: Buried here are the ashes of JOHN R. W. STOTT 1921 – 2011 Rector of All Souls Church, Langham Place, London 1950-1975 Rector Emeritus 1975-2011 Who resolved Both as the ground of his salvation And as the subject of his ministry To know nothing except JESUS CHRIST And him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2) unquote
Excellent point bro! Exactly right!
A resolution seemingly contradicted by his blatant and unapologetic ecumenism and some of his other theories regarding sodomy and the environment.
What the church needs today is another John Knox. Unafraid to stand AGAINST unjust, wicked and ungodly authorities, inside and outside the church. Someone who's prayers Barak Obama can fear more than the combined Russian and Chinese armed forces. Alas the church be full of Romans 13 bots that do not have the stomach for such a one. We couldn't handle Ian Paisley when he was alive who, zealous as he was, would himself admit that he would have the zeal of a John Knox if he could. BTW if you really carefully read Romans 13 you will find the Heavenly design for government. Inclusive in this are the words "higher powers" in V1, plural. Which have application to the lower magistrates' right to rule where it exists, you know,.... like in the USA,.... so far. Suggest reading Charles Hodge on Romans 13 if you have a copy. If you don't get one and get balanced. Good Lord's Day to you.
I'm finding out the hard way that people will believe what they want to believe. Professing evangelical Christians are no exception. They think they're doing the church a favor by staying mainstream. This is especially the case with Romans 13-bots. I had a sweet sister who's mind and body atrophied because of a vaccine ministered in a British government hospital so you can guess what my position is on this issue. And it ain't with Newsweek or Meg "Big Sister" Kelly (who is a "Christian") (??) at Fox News.
I don't know why this has to be so fuzzy. She's a Christian. Sodomite marriage is an abomination in the nostrils of the God who sent His only begotten Son to become sin for her so that she could be the righteousness of God in Him. She is willing to lose her job so as not to participate in offending her great God and take a stand against this. She is excercising her scripturally informed conscience and I for one support her and will be praying for her, rather than rendering unrighteous judgment on her. I lost my job that I had for 9 1/2 years when I would not bow down to new management requiring me to work every other Lord's Day. The Lord provided work the very next day, with a better company and at the same pay rate. I was not supported by many Christians for the decision I made, but I learned a valuable lesson. God honors those who honor Him and not those who rather honor the broad-minded opinions of other Christians, inside or outside their congregations. Again. I don't see why this has to be so complicated. BTW there is a BIG difference between a soldier protecting his nation in a time of war and a clerk contributing to its downfall by issuing sodomite marriage licenses. Don't tell me THAT'S complicated too?!
“When nations are to perish in their sins, ‘tis in the church where the leprosy begins, the priest whose office is with zeal sincere, to watch the fountain and preserve it clear, carelessly nods and sleeps upon the brink, while others poison what the flock must drink.” - William Cowper
