“ Great price to pay. ” It is true: how many times we say that we want blessing, revival or holiness, but we don't want to pay the price... God, put a sincere hunger for holiness in us!
“ Great Sermon! ” Such a brave man to be able to relay this story. Praise god for the blessed sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ-which gives hope of a reunion to grieving families.
“ Very interesting. ” This was a very interesting message. I heard sermons from this text only about Zacheus, not about the people who missed salvation. It is a very relevant and sad reality.
“ Precious word. ” Precious word from God to my soul! Oh, how much I needed this message! Praise God, He still speaks to my soul! The walk described in this message is the walk known in Romania as the way of the repenters. The way of old-fashioned repenters.
“ Presence of God. ” Powerful evangelistic sermon. I bless the Lord for this thought: when God comes in the congragation He identifies and confronts those who are not clothed with the righteousness of Christ!
“ Great truths. ” Worship must ne sincere, spiritual and scriptural. It must come from a regenerate and pure heart. Make, Lord, my worship acceptable unto You!
“ Great reminder. ” We must never forget that we are creatures and God is the Creator and Lord of all things, and that future is in His hands. Our days are in His hands.
“ Great responsibility. ” What a great and serious responsibility we have of speaking with others about the Lord. And the responsibility of the ministers of the Gospel is greater, because they must watch also against errors which seek to destroy the faith of God's people.
“ Great Sermon! ” excellent sermon!much heart serching will be done to see if our calling is cure. pray for us that God will make known to us to our condition. we pray that we are the son who repents and then obeys rather then the one who has a veneer of obedience.
“ Warning: Fake Christianity Busted Here ” "A Christian *profession* can be a great hindrance to entering the kingdom of God", he starts. This is a real preacher, and preaching, like only an Irishman can thunder. He "cries aloud and spares not" his audience, saying "You!" to challenge all Christian professors to a test. "You're just playing church to be seen", he cries! No flattery here! The preacher searches out and overturns every refuge of hiding. "There are going to be many surprises on Judgment Day...people we thought would be in heaven will not be there". "You're content with a little religion". We need more forthright preaching like this in American pulpits, where *conservative church membership* and activity (Churchianity), or mere doctrinal beliefs and confessions, is the refuge of Christian profession and a false security.
