Excellent Series! This is a very timely and deep sermon series. I have been greatly blessed by the first six sermons in particular--they have reminded me who God is and why we worship Him, something that I have been distracted from in recent years. The Lord has used these sermons to bring me back to right priorities, a right attitude, and true worship of the Holy Triune God, regardless of the weaknesses of the church I currently attend.
Good practical words that need to be heard! Thank you, Pastor Mook. Trust that all who hear will take the time to compare spiritual things with spiritual!
Great Sermon! Mr. Mook has a gift for presenting essential Scriptural truths in the context of the real world in which we find them - both historically and today. This message does NOT contain a sentimental appeal to our history, but a plain reminder that God has favored His people.
Whether in Europe, the America's or elsewhere we are to be thankful for a long suffering God who invites us to come back to him (as in Hosea 14).
Daniel prayed for his own sin as well as his nation's sin (Daniel 9). We ought to be doing the same.
Great Sermon! thank you for your prescicos preaching. This is really good for me. Would you please send me a whole transcript of sermon " God's Blessing on America' if it is available? Thanks again.
God's Blessing on America I think it is wrong for people to make pronouncements that God's blessing is on America. It certainly isn't bibically based. Sadly, this country is morally and spiritually bankrupt, with men who sin in much the same fashion as our forefathers. As a christian, I long for the day when Christ returns not to establish a physical but spiritual Jerusalem, wherein true righteous dwells. He will judge individuals and not nations at that time.
