Mother Teresa: Enemy of the Protestant Reformation Mother Teresa (26 August, 1910-5 September, 1997), remained an avowed enemy of the Protestant Reformation throughout the 20th century. Even to this day, she, Mother Teresa, is still hailed as a supposed "saint". The world's uncritical praise of Mother Teresa is a sign that the world sees the Protestant Reformation as a "heresy" in need of being forgotten.
However, the Protestant Reformation has not, and never will be forgotten since it advanced making the Bible known to the common readers, thereby enlightening their understanding and producing wisdom in their hearts.
Wonderful!!! I am so thankful for your sermon. So many things preached in this sermon that have been over looked in the Bible for centuries by so many and by myself I am sorry to say. I plead with God in my prayer that the Truth shall be made clear to his people both in the Church and in Israel! Thank you pastor!
Mother Teresa: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing Mother Teresa, during her occupation as a Roman Catholic nun, was a very high profile wolf in sheep's clothing. While she appeared as a "saintly figure" and "philanthropist" on the exterior, she propagating the damnable heresies of popery. This proves that Mother Teresa was a false prophet.
Wise insight! Mother Teresa (26 August, 1910-5 September, 1997), propagating the Council of Trent and its damnable false gospel of salvation through works since 1922.
Words of wisdom! False prophets, like Mother Teresa, the popes like Pope John Paul II, and liberals like Robert Schuller, go through life being showered with all the worldly prestige and respectability. The evidence that these false prophets can receive a lot of prestige by the wicked world is proof that they are without chastisement according to Hebrews 12:8. In spite of all the respectability and prestige offered by the world, these false prophets are later on punished for their sins in Hell, and eventually, the Lake of Fire.
These false prophets, like Mother Teresa, thought respectable and prestigious in reputation, will be judged at the Great White Throne and be cast into the Lake of Fire. We must warn people that the pursuit and desire for prestige will result in the loss of wisdom and a direction to one's own downfall.
Great Sermon! Remember,
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew 7:15-20).
These warnings about false prophets were spoken by Jesus in the verses listed above. Just so that you know, Mother Teresa was a wolf in sheep's clothing. However, Mother Teresa, like every other prestigious Roman Catholic figure, will be judged at the Great White Throne and be cast into the Lake of Fire. Remember Revelation 20:11-15.
Insightful! Many people, including evangelicals, claim that Mother Teresa was the official "spokeswoman of sainthood." We know that Mother Teresa was recognized for her prestige and respectability by the world when she was alive. We also realize that she, Mother Teresa, was a false teacher who propagated damnable heresies like sacramental salvation due to being a Roman Catholic nun. 2 Peter 2:1-3 gives us a clear warning about false teachers and the damnable heresies promoted by them. Roman Catholicism was not the only damnable heresy of Mother Teresa, so was that of universalism. Even though Mother Teresa propagated universalism, a damnable heresy, Jesus Christ clearly decreed that He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life in John 14:6. According to John 14:6, The Lord Jesus Christ decreed that He is the Only Way to Heaven. We must never compromise with apostate inclusivism.
Reply to Calvin Hodge There is more than me, and more than Free Presbyterians, who have their concerns about Tim Keller.
Here is a link to someone who is not a Free Presbyterian who details more fully the errors of Tim Keller: http://www.newcalvinist.com/tim-kellers-false-gospel.
Neither is it anywhere near accurate, even as a generalisation to describe the FPC as being "more of an independent fundamentalist church than a Calvinist oneā¦"!
