On Monday past (7/7/08) one of our church families was plunged into a sudden and sorrowful trajedy. Their son was killed in a car accident just two miles from the church. The event has cast a dark shadow over the closeknit village of Gardenstown and is felt deeply within the church fellowship. When dark shadows fall God's word is our only comfort. Rev Hughes preached from Isaiah 43:2 in the aftermath of this sad event.
