SERMON INFO
You will see from this that the Christian life is a supernatural thing. The soul of the new believer is ever and always totally dependent upon the Spirit of God. Just like the plant in the desert, unless there is water from above there is no hope of continued life.
God's way of watering the believer's soul is by the Holy Spirit. Whom He saves and brings us into the family of God he will continue to pour grace into that soul unto the day of glory.
But he Holy Spirit uses means. He works through instruments to efficiently supply spiritual life to the souls of believers.

These are called the means of grace or the ways by which the Spirit works to pour grace into our souls on a regular basis. It is our responsibility to discover these means of grace to drink and enjoy the life of the Spirit in this barren world. The Christian who fails to do so will be a very shaggy plant barely living and will not be fruitful. God being a God of order does not work any old way. He has ordained special means to do this work in us. This God ordained use of means is called the regulative principle. Church doctrine and church practice must be based on clear scriptural warrant.

In this sermon Pastor Goligher explains the regulative principle and shows how thoroughly Biblical our worship must be in order for us to honour God in all things.
Featuring a sermon puts it on the front page of the site and is the most effective way to bring this sermon to the attention of thousands including all mobile platforms + newsletter.
