This sermons hits home! Pastor Mooney makes it more than clear: alcohol is a danger to the very soul, even for professing Christians who keep drinking. I'm an ex-alcoholic, delivered by God from a dangerous drink problem which reduced a life full of promise to drunken desperation: although I've recovered much since giving up thanks to God. I can no longer drink though, and although I miss the pleasures of wine and beer...it is best this way and I can't help thinking it is God keeping me from alcohol. I pray any professing Christian tempted by the fleeting bliss provided by strong drink hear and heed this message: alcohol ruins lives; and snatches away souls...it only takes a split second for a soul to be lost. Thanks to Pastor Mooney for such a massively powerful message.
