Excellent Sermon! In recent months the fear of death has visibly grasped many in our world. The only remedy for this fear is a rock solid conviction of the promise of eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Great Sermon! For so many the fear of death has become palpable and pressing in recent months. This is an excellent sermon to share with unsaved friends and family at this time. May the Lord bless it to the saving of many souls!
Great Sermon! "Every sin deserveth God's wrath and curse, both in this life, and that which is to come." Westminster Shorter Catechism #84
So thankful for the Redeemer, "Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father." Galatians 1:4
Great Sermon! Merely uttering the sinner's prayer can never save a lost soul. No, it is a change of heart unto faith and repentance which saves, and this can only be brought about by the abundant grace of God.
Great Sermon! Are you one of those who know the truth, but smother it? May God give you no rest and no peace until you can say that Christ is all your salvation.
Great Sermon! Don't be fooled, behind the seeming civility of some unbelievers lurks a heart which hates Jesus Christ just as much as those who are the most outwardly hostile to Him.
Great Sermon! It is astonishing to observe how the unregenerate will cut their noses off to spite their faces, rejecting the Lord Jesus and His truth in order to pursue destructive courses. The explanation for their behaviour is given to us: "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." (John 3:19-20)
Excellent Sermon! Soundly refutes two common pretenses: 1.) That those who believe the Gospel do so because they are in some way morally superior to those who do not believe. 2.) That those who reject the Gospel do so because they are too intellectually honest to believe.
Great Sermon! Denying reality avails nothing, and all those who deny Christ will one day be compelled to bow the knee to Him who is our Prophet, Priest and King.
Great Sermon! Although afflicted by Peter's betrayal, Christ reinstated Peter and lifted him up. "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." (Psalm 34:18) What a wonderful Saviour!
Great Sermon! The crying need of our time is a thorough Reformation wrought in the hearts of our people by the Holy Spirit: "Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence...." (Isaiah 64:1 KJV)
Great Sermon! Men may deny the deity of Christ now, but the Day is coming in which they will no longer be able to insult Him as ordinary: "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Phil. 2:9-11
Very Helpful! An extremely helpful sermon for anyone with cases of conscience concerning proper Sabbath observance. Far from legalistic, this sermon offers numerous examples and nuances of what is and is not lawful for the Sabbath Day. Highly recommended!
Great Sermon! "...Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood..." (Revelation 1:5b)
We can not fathom the holiness and justice of God and His wrath against sin, nor can we fathom the immense love of Jesus Christ which led Him to bear that wrath on behalf of sinners. What a wonderful Saviour!
