When a baby is conceived, this is because God allows it, 'So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife, and when he went in unto her, the LORD GAVE HER CONCEPTION, and she bare a son' Ruth 4:13. So when a woman or teenager aborts a baby, they are messing with what God has allowed, a human life. Luke 1:41 says, 'And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb'. Notice, the unborn child is called a 'baby', not a fetus. In the Greek, baby means 'babe, young child'. God is the one who opens or closes the womb, He allows human life to begin at conception. "These six things doth the Lord hate, yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and HANDS THAT SHED INNOCENT BLOOD" Proverbs 6:16,17 This nation is guilty of murdering many innocent lives, and judgment is rapidly approaching. |

Micheal, You mentioned the apostate church earlier, which is very important for the time we live in. Politicians are in the pulpits, and pastors are endorsing politicians. There is a good clip at watcherslamp.blogspot.com from Pastor Jamey Day speaking out against this very thing. John MacArthur also has a good transcript at his website, gty.org, 'the church in prophetic perspective', which concerns the Laodicean church. God is calling people out of this current Laodicean church, this lukewarm church that says 'pray a prayer', or 'make a decision', you can be saved if you eat this 'Jesus' wafer, or follow the highs and lows of the 'Charismatic Christ'; all these man-made formulas save no one, never do they mention the necessity of repentance, wrath, sin, judgment. Once that is finished, it becomes the great Harlot, totally filled with apostates. People will flock to this church, they're already starting to {example, Osteen's 'best life now' church}. Let's remember the words of the Apostle Paul, ' let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except there come a FALLING AWAY first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition' 2 Thess. 2:3 We are seeing God's word fulfilled. |

Micheal, Sherry, Girl, Lurker,- I praise God for loving brothers and sisters in Christ such as all of you. I am so amazed how He unites us, from all parts of the globe! We are one, with the Great Shepherd as the overseer of our souls. May we all lift up our voices to praise His Holy Name, for our Sovereign God has done a mighty work in all of us! Sherry, I too live in Illinois, about 50 miles south of Springfield. Even if none of us ever meet in this life, we will have all of eternity to spend together! May God strengthen us, granting all His children courage, fearlessness, boldness, love, compassion, perseverance, and patience as we wait on the Lord. Let us all pray and speed His glorious return! "Surely I come quickly." AMEN. Even so, come Lord Jesus!" Revelation 22:20 |

Wayne; "And yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind. Charity envieth not, charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemingly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth, but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail, whether there be tongues, they shall cease, whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away." 1 Cor. 12-13 |

Wayne, you need to move on, all are in agreement here except you sir. You are in dire need of a lesson on humility, for your repeated insults hurled on every single commenter here are indeed wearing thin. May the Lord come alongside and show you, if you will allow Him to. It is sad you think more highly of yourself than you ought, for God detests the proud, but exalts the humble. You accuse others of insecurity, with nothing more added to say what it is we are all 'insecure' over. Your accusations are false and unwarranted. Really, it does not matter. You are not hard to figure out, you defend Obama, then you say you don't. You defend RW, then you say you don't follow him, so you seem much too wishy washy. Do you really know what it is you are truly angry about in the first place? Instead of directing your anger, hostility, and pride at brothers and sisters in Christ, ask God to help you overcome. I am sure we are all done with the 'wayne game' here. Good day sir. |

Wayne, in your post from 8/18/08 at 8:13 p.m. you make a statement, 'Yes, JM disagrees with RW's 'seeker sensitive' ministy, but he doesn't think RW is a false prophet! If that is true, then why does John MacArthur speak out against his pdl in his transcript, 'Apostates, be warned, pt. 2'? He is teaching from the book of Jude concerning apostates, and he calls rw out for his false gospel. It is not a direct quote, but he certainly ties rw in with apostasy. You claim to be friends with John MacArthur, can you verify that? If I were to e-mail Dr. MacArthur and drop your name, would he acknowledge? Would he know 'wayne' from so. cal., or are you willing to give me your last name so I can e-mail Dr. MacArthur? Another question, back in April of 2005, during the announcing of rw's 'peace plan', before he sprang it on his church, he entertained them with Jimi Hendrix' 'purple haze'. Why would a 'man of God' sing lyrics about being drug induced? How does that song fit in worship, how does it glorify a Holy God? |

Wayne, Why do you deem it necessary to insult with every post? Is that truly a characteristic of a follower of Christ? You accuse Sherry of being insecure, is that how God calls us to defend scripture? With belittling comments? Arrogance is not a characteristic of a servant of the Most High God. 'God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise.' You claim to be a 'professional theologian', what is that? Lurker is right, you don't get it. Only God can give understanding to the scriptures, not any college. Have you repented of your sins, cried out for mercy and forgiveness? Have you been reconciled to God? It isn't about a 'relationship', Jesus isn't my boyfriend, He is Lord and Savior of my life. He rules and reigns in my heart. Does He in yours? He was the propitiation, or satisfaction of God's anger at sin. If you follow Rick Warren's gospel, then you are in trouble. He does not preach repentance, wrath, judgment, or hell. He fails miserably to preach the WHOLE COUNSEL of God. I urge you to fall before the Lord, crying out for mercy and forgiveness, until He hears. Give your whole heart, may God humble you and grant you the new birth. |

Lurker, Girl, Micheal, Sherry, After my last post I came to realize how awesome God is, He brings alongside His children to strengthen one another, build up, and encourage. Before I turned in for the night, I gave our Sovereign God much praise and glory for what He has done here, how He works all things out for our good and His glory! Lurker, I am glad you brought up the point about 'theological training'. Only God's Holy Spirit reveals real truth. Wayne made an earlier comment about RW knowing the 'deeper things of God'. John MacArthur has stated this is one of the indicators of false teachers/prophets, they claim to have some sort of 'hidden' knowledge. Very scary. It is also noteworthy to point out a passage from our Lord from Matthew 24, when the disciples asked, 'what will be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?'. Jesus answered and said unto them, "Take heed that no man DECEIVE you". This is the first warning given by Christ Himself, and should be heeded by all. We live in a time of great deception and apostasy, there is a dire need to be a good Berean and 'search the scriptures daily'. There is an informative article at defendingcontending.com concerning the emerging, seeker sensitive, purpose driven movement entitled 'profane prophets'. God bless |

Girl, May the Lord be praised!!! It is so awesome to hear from true believers humbled and saved by God, all for His purpose and glory. Our Sovereign God is worthy of all praise, glory, and honor, for He has done a marvelous thing. May the Lord bless you girl, and all who are His children. The question isn't 'do you now Jesus?' the question is 'does Jesus know you? Micheal, you can read the transcript of John MacArthur's preaching against apostasy, of which Rick Warren is a big part of, at gty.org, the transcript is entitled, 'apostates, be warned, pt. 2, it is based on Jude 6-7. Here's just a sample.. 'First, believe, believe God loves you and made you for His purposes. Believe God has chosen you to have a relationship with Jesus who died on the cross for you. Believe that no matter what you've done, God wants to forgive you. Second, receive Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. Receive His forgiveness for your sins.' {Quoted by J.M. from PDL} MacArthur states, 'Is there anything missing there? What might be missing there? REPENTANCE!" |

Micheal, John MacArthur does speak out against Rick Warren's 'purpose driven lie', you can view it at youtube under the heading 'MacArthur and the purpose driven life'. Excellent commentary, the bible warns of growing apostasy as we draw nearer to Christ's return, RW is helping to herald in all this deception. Sherry, Amen sister! Just as the tax collector cried out to God, 'be merciful to me, a sinner', so we too, who have been brought low, humbled and broken over our sinful condition cry out to God for mercy, grace, and forgiveness. I appreciate you and Micheal tremendously, God bless! Does RW preach a gospel of repentance, does he speak of heaven and hell, wrath and judgment? Or is it more of a 'relationship' type of salvation? |

Wayne, whosoever means as many as; believes, to commit to, to trust in, to have faith in. Those who, by God's drawing power, receive Christ by faith are children of God, born from above. God gives a new heart and a new spirit to all He saves. No one has power over sin, until God humbles the proud, sinful heart, we all rebel. There is none who does good, no, not one; all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God {Romans 3:12, 23}. Did you one day wake up and decide it was a good day to invite Jesus in your life? Even though scripture tells us that we all are sinners, yet you overcame your rebellious heart and invited Jesus in? Read the parables concerning the Pharisee praying, and the tax collector. Is a murderer born that way, or a rapist? How about a thief? A drug addict? Do we not choose to give in to temptation? Read James 1:13-14. As for my former life, I no longer lust after sexual immorality or perversion, all by His power and might, through the Holy Spirit, of whom I am sealed. I hate the things I once did, and detest all that opposes the word of God. |

Wayne, show all of us, from scripture, where God commands us to 'invite' Christ;- use these words, since that is what you claim. To 'receive' Christ is to lay hold, to take possession of, to believe He is who He says He is, to surrender to His Lordship and authority over one's life. "For by GRACE {undeserved favor} are ye saved through faith, and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is the GIFT of God" Ephesians 2:8-9 Only the grace of God can save anyone, not us 'picking' or 'inviting'. You have no clue to God's sovereignty. You think God owes you, me, or anyone anything? We have all sinned against Him and we do not even deserve to draw a breath, we are commanded in scripture to 'work out our salvation with fear and trembling'. You claim superior wisdom over all who post, but sadly, your wisdom is earthly,... you know not God. |

Wayne, I did not 'invite' Christ, God is not waiting on me to 'pick' Him. John 6:37, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:44, "No man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him." "Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father". John 6:65 Since when does a Sovereign God need a wicked sinner's permission to save him/her?! You have an 'easy believism' view, and you do not understand the sovereignty of Almighty God, HE OWES US NOTHING. We all deserve hell, by HIS GRACE, we are saved. It is a gift {Eph. 2:8-9}. A gift is given without permission needed, the recipient receives what has freely been given, not because he deserves or asks for it, but because the Giver is merciful and gracious. Praise God for His saving grace. |

Wayne, Yes I have been saved, by God's grace. I did not say a prayer, walk an aisle, or make a decision. God broke my proud arrogant heart, He humbled me and saved me. By His grace and power, I know longer live a homosexual life, the life I live I live by faith in the Son of God, who gave Himself for me. You still have not answered completely the question, have you repented of your sins, is there a inward change reflected by an outward way of living? Are you a new creation in Christ? If so, how can you justify upholding Obama when he goes against the word of God? God will not tolerate 'compromise' in His children. |
